Mitkraft Posted September 23 Share Posted September 23 I just picked up a 5200 this weekend and on my initial checkout I got no sound when playing any games through the VCS cartridge adapter. I've only messed with 2600s before so I'm completely new to the 5200. Everything else seems to work fine and it is a 2 port model and not a 4 port. I connected it to the TV just using an RCA/coax adapter. 5200 games seem to look and sound as they should. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks! At first it wasn’t working with the cart I tried or my Harmony cartridge so I just assumed it wasn’t working at all. Tonight I tried Target fun and realized the sound was working so I tried some others and found it works on some and not others. I did a sanity check with my harmony cart it also had sound on the same ones that real carts had sound on and vice versa. Games with sound: Target Fun Arcade Pinball Frogger Congo Bongo Pac-Man Golf Games with no sound: Missile Command Zaxxon Space Invaders Donkey Kong Pitfall!
