Atari 50th: Wider World of Atari DLC free on VCS?

I heard that the 'Atari 50th - Wider World of Atari DLC' is free on the VCS. I have the Switch version of Atari 50th myself. I didn't had a VCS when Atari 50th came out. But I would like to have it on the VSC as well. On the switch the DLC is 8 dollars. In November there will be another DLC, together 16 dollars. If I now buy Atari 50th on the VCS for 30 dollars and get the two DLC's for free, then I actually only pay 14 dollars for the basic Atari 50th. Can anyone confirm that the DLC is indeed free on the VCS?

Yes, Atari wrote that on X : "VCS players will be getting both DLC packs for free in an update once DLC2 comes out in November!"

Thanks for the info. Then I'll buy Atari 50th now. If the two DLC are included in November, then it might become more expensive. Because then it will automatically become the Expanded Edition.

This is great!  I bought the two on Steam, but this is awesome to get them on the VCS.

It is awesome, but just a heads up that the update is large.   It is recommended that you upgrade your internal hard drive space with a SSD to accommodate.

I’m ready. I added my internal SSD earlier this year and quickly moved my Atari 50 onto it.
