obermotz
Hello, I have just received an 800XL with a tape deck from a friend of mine and would like to play some old games on it. Is there a site out there with .CAS files available? I found the CAS2WAV software but have not had any luck with finding games in this format. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks Peter
Nukey Shay
I dunno. Most people just go out and spend $20 for the SIO2PC cable (which makes dinking around with audio files a thing of the past). There is a conversion utility that changes an .Xex executable file into a .cas image (which can then be converted to .wav and recorded to cassette). You can get that program here: http://home.planet.nl/~ernest/atarixle.html
