Asylum Seeker
Very simple question but why are there so many sealed games of Steel Talons, Chips Challenge, Xybots etc etc and nothing else? It puzzles me or were these the only titles that were mass produced?
Adrian M
Atari probably set abnormally high production runs for these titles of which very few copies sold.
bergbros2
Yep, that's right. Those are the commonest of commons. Absolutely huge production runs with little sold. Think E.T. for the 2600 but these games are much much better. There are other titles that were just as common. Look at the rarity list and you can spot them. The good thing is that the commons are usually good games. Except for Pit Fighter. Yuck.
Susuwatari
Another good thing about these Lynx carts: after shipping you can get a bunch of new in box games for a few dollars each. Now if only Atari overdid with Chess game, I'd be set as far as stradegy games for Lynx. (got other like Rampart, Shanghai, etc)

(got other like Rampart, Shanghai, etc) Fidelity Ultimate Chess is a Telegames release, and their production runs, even in the commercial heydey of the Lynx, were always much more limited. The only Telegames Lynx game that seems to have a wide distribution is, somewhat unfortunately, Qix.

I'm not a Qix expert but my initial complaints is everything is plaid. I can't tell if its a slow or fast fill and the sparx are hard as hell to see. Ill take a peek at the instructions. JagChris
Ok Qix on the Lynx it seems defaults no matter which button pressed to the slow speed then you have to switch buttons to get the fast speed. That's not good.
+jgkspsx
I never had problems with Qix on the Lynx.
PFG 9000
Lynx Qix is awesome. Maybe it's just because I grew up with it, but I don't see how anybody could complain about it. It's solidly programmed and pretty dang fun. I just wish the qix itself didn't spend so much time dancing around my character.
JagChris
I find the color scheme not ideal or the button scheme. We need to do this for next season HSC.
