MidnightSun
I think we should run a poll and see what the 10 most popular games were for the 2600. WE could vote and have the results posted.

HERO Pressure Cooker Kaboom Combat Warlords Indy 500 Stampede Thrust Circus Atari Adventure (I'm gonna buy Marble Craze after Xmas and I get the feeling it may push Stampede off the list)

Xot
There's going to be HUGE issues with a poll of this magnitude. Such as: How do you input your choices? If you manually type in your choices, how will the polling software deal with misspelled or nonexistant titles? What to do about games with multiple names (Combat vs. Tank Plus, Name This Game vs. Octopus)? How are votes weighted? How do you prevent multiple votes? Maybe there could be a "rate this game" box on each cart page, and somewhere else there would be an Atari Age "Top 10" with the highest average scores. Not perfect, but probably the most effective. (I predict Pitfall, Adventure, Marble Craze and Ms. Pac-Man would all be in the top ten if not the top five).
ATARIPITBULL
I would vote for: 1) Raiders of the Lost Ark. 2) Yar's Revenge. 3) Pitfall I. 4) Pitfall II. 5) Wizard of Wor. 6) Montezuma's Revenge. 7) Adventure. Pac-man Jr. 9) Frogger. 10) Atariage Pac-Man.

cryptik76
Isn't the poll supposed to be "most popular"? Not the greatest games. There are some fairly obscure games in your lists.
Sylentwulf
Have everyone post their top ten, add up the total number of votes for each game, the more votes, the higher it places until you get a top ten. For example, so far adventure has 4 votes total, giving it 4 total points, and pitfall II has 2 points. Easiest way to do it anyways
Megamaniac
Polling has been disabled on this site so that is not an option. I had originally thought it'd be nice to get a list of the 32 most likely, most popular, then have a face-off poll between pairs (tournament style). Some people might not like the idea but I thought it'd be fun. Then again, I like March Madness basketball!
