caveman
Does anyone know if a Vectrex emulator for the Mac exists? I've never owned the original console, and I want to see what it could do.
Wntermute
MacMESS will emulate a Vectrex, along with many other console and early personal computers.
oesii
I'll concur, I play Vectrex games through MacMess, don't recall having any problems with any of the games. I mostly play Rip Off, Star Castle, and MineStorm on it.
liveinabin
Yeah, the Vectrex is about the only console I can get working (decent) emulation out of with MacMESS.
JB
I want to gripe, but I should probably try the current version of MESS before I do. And that's something I'm not anxious to set up. So I'll just compromise and whine about how no emulator can do vectors right on a raster display.

I just made a mental list of the systems I play in MacMess (my savior on slow work days). Atari 7800 Bally Astrocade PDP-1 (SpaceWar ) Colecovision Vectrex NES (some of my games dont work with other emus) I'm pretty happy with all the emulation, save for NES but some games just won't run on the other emus. Colecovision and Atari 7800 have improved a lot in the last years and I can try out most games and enjoy them.
