schnapps83
Can anyone tell me how to fix my Atari 2600. I turn the power switch on and nothing happens. My power adaptor is good. Could this just be the switch or something else. Please help.
Sylentwulf
I've noticed that the power jack can get knocked loose pretty easily sometimes, and you can get a new part from radio shack if you need to, or just solder the old one back in place if it looks like it's still good. Spirantho
You might want to check the main (biggest!) capacitor - I suspect a few of those on my turn-em-on-and-nothing-happens Ataris...
skippy5c
I had a similar a problem and I ended up replacing the manual RF switch from one at Radio Shack....for about $8.
