+kheller2
How come the 2600 label section doesn't list "grey" labels as a version? The Red labels and Grey were 7800 style cases. "Silver" looks nothing like the dull grey ones.
ApolloBoy
I've been thinking the same thing too...
Christophero Sly
The dull grey labels are considered minor label variants. They are late-80's re-issues of the foil (silver) label games. They are probably left out of the rarity guide in order to avoid unnecessary clutter and potential confusion. However, grey label carts are given extensive coverage in the 'Giant List of Label Variants' (available in the archives here on AA). It's difficult to draw a line between what should be included in the rarity guide and what should be left to comprehensive lists of label variations. SS
How would you describe this one? Even generic "grey" doesn't quite do it.
Csonicgo
it's the STYLE of the label...

Csonicgo
That will work. "Oh, that's the rare 'cheapass' variation..."

Track & Field CX26125 ©1984, E: grey with red letters (Case shows CX26127) this label has square corners and is just a greyscale picture on a white piece of paper. The label doesn't look like any other type that Atari made.
