Agent X
In this thread, Cybergoth said he talked with Randy Glover about a 2600 version of Jumpman, and Mr. Glover said it would be OK. After reading that thread, and also this one (which contained a link to the other thread), an idea occurred to me. Seeing how it's possible for some Atari 8-bit computer games to be (relatively) easily ported over to the 5200, I was wondering if it would be possible to finally--after all these years--have a real, official version of either Jumpman or Jumpman Jr. for the 5200. Judging by Mr. Glover's comments on a 2600 version, as well as the existance of other Jumpman ports/remakes that have appeared over recent years, I think it should be possible for someone to obtain the rights to produce and sell a legal 5200 version with the blessing of the original author and copyright holder of this game. I'd like to see this happen!
mechanized
That'd be really cool, yeah. I don't know anyone who does this sort of thing, personally, but hopefully someone that does will read this and maybe get the ball rolling. Goochman
Jumpman was a disk based game with level loading - that would prob be a bear to convert - Jr however was cart based and prob much easier
