CPUWIZ
I've never seen ANY text games with gold borders. It is very odd, it also seems to have 2 labels on it as well. This is definately not hand painted either.
Csonicgo
well.... maybe that's the reason.... maybe the lable is reacting with the glue?
StanJr
never paid that much attention to text label games before. The only thing I've seen close to that is my 01 combat with a red tinted end label. But I just assumed that was common. I'll keep an eye out from now on. gospeedde
I have a Hunt and Score with a gold outline (and the end label is upside down). The lettering is gold where it's usually silver and an olivegreenish where it's usually gold. It's not faded though, it looks like it was printed that way. Don't know what it means, though. Trade-N-Games
I think I know why its like this. I have a few of them around my store right now. I got a case or air sea battle 02 in the gate fold box style last year and when I opened them all of them looked like the cart pictured above. The end label did not have the 02 on it but the surround was the goldish look to it.

the 5th ghost
I also have quite a few text carts with gold borders. I don't know why, but never thought much of them. Maybe the original owner was a chain smoker?

bjk7382
I have two texts with gold boarder. My Outlaw has both lables gold, and the Breakout has the main label with silver boarder and the end label gold.
