Cassette (tape)-only games to cartrige?

I think there were a couple of games, mostly made in Europe (UK), that were only released on cassette.

Booting from cassette is a pain on the ATARI since these programs did not use speedloaders (there were some speedloaders in the 80s,but they all did not work that good, I think because the ATARI tape uses only 1/4 of the tape to allow playing music while loading.).

The companies who made cassette games were Mastertronic, Silverbird,

Zeppelin, Players, Bug-Byte and some others I don´t remember.

AFAIK Mastertronic also made disk-versions for the US market, at least of

their C64 games.

But I wonder if anyone made cartridge versions of the Zeppelin, Mastertronic etc. games ?

Well, apart from some multi-load games, it wouldn't be too difficult. Most of the other programs exist as single files already so it's simply a matter of transferring them to cartridge format.

You're right, there were several disk-based A8 Mastertronic titles for the US market: Ninja, LA SWAT / Panther, Despatch Rider, Molecule Man, Vegas Jackpot, Last V8...

Nir Dary has made multi-carts of many of the titles in the respective Zeppelin, Red Rat, Sonix, and Mastertronic catalogues. He might be able to help you here.
