SS
Fun game and REALLY impressive graphically for the 2600! Love it! @ BigFairy – It’s more fun with real sticks.
Paul Slocum
Yeah, it's a really fun game. One of the best. -paul
StanJr
early NES quality graphics and sound. Some of the best stuff you can find for the VCS. Underappreciated if you ask me.
Brad2600
I almost wish I had landed a copy of it like I tried to a few weeks back. I wanna check it out thanks to this thread.
kyle
Yeah the background graphics are unreal the sound is nice too and the gamplay is awesome! I do wish the bike and rider could have been given more color? But i'm not complaining the background graphics might be the best on the system the only other games that i can think of that even come close to haveing graphics as good as BMX are Road Runner California Games and Stargate. BigFairy321
Hmmm.what year did this game came in? it seems as a later 80's title and the graphiccs are very imperssive. i couldnt figure out the controls on my emulator for this game so i wasnt able to play it properly. It seems to me that its quite a rare game, so i will probably find it difficult to acquire over here in australia ( pal format) Thats what emulators are for! kyle
It came out in 89. In the USA it's a rarity 4,6,10 depending on label variation.
uosipa llamxew
I want this game so much. Once you figure out the gameplay, you'll be amazed at the cool looking tricks - great graphics for the VCS! There is a copy on eBay right now... CIB. I'm watching it, but I expect that the bidding will go way above my limit - as usual. :-(
Paul Slocum
Really helps to read the manual to learn the scoring system and basic controls. http://www.atariage.com/manual_thumbs.html...twareLabelID=38 -paul
belty
God aye, it superb.
Whisper
I don't think the graphics are that special, nice horizon indeed, but there are IMO graphically better games like Solaris or Robot Tank. Solaris is really the nicest loking game in my collection.
Thaumaturge
Ah yes, this is definatley a classic, I can remember buying it from the toy store at the shopping centre (there is a health food store there now). $26 i think it was. I like it because the objective is simple: scoring points by doing varoius stunts. Yet it is complex in the variety of moves you can perform. The sound is excellent, with wolf whistles and other noises when you perform the varoius moves, and that background music is superoir to just about any other atari game I know (please prove me wrong so as to expand my knowledge. On top of that, it is one of the few games I have in my collection that still works 100% of the time, so naturally i play it alot.
atari_wizard
don't have it and haven't played it. but, i'm gonna snag me a copy sooner or later.
Christophero Sly
I still don't have this one yet. It's one of the last two R4 carts I need. I haven't been able to find a good deal on it.
jeepnut24
I got a TNT copy a few weeks back for $12. Loved it on the emulator and had to have the cart. Now if Only I could the the ATARI version...
