+Cafeman
http://cafeman.www9.50megs.com/atari/5200d...Adventure2.html Some new info, in anticipation of the PC5 where we'll demo the game at the AtariAge booth's kiosk. Gregory DG
Looks nice! I especially like the snow screen and the shadows of the trees. Does the dragon breathe fire?
jnice
Yes, very impressive! The background detail is great. Are you sure this game is for the 5200??? I'm so used to playing 5200 games that use...um...NOTHING for background. That "hand" looks like it could almost take the dragon in a fight WITHOUT a sword! Hee hee. Keep up the good work. Your game and Irata's Quest will make great additions to the 5200 library. Oh, and seeing these pictures makes me want to learn how to program even more!!! Big Player
Can't wait to try it out at PC5. And of course see Cafeman again too. It's been a while.

Vic George 2K3
Game's sounding more interesting. Too bad I don't have a 5200 to play it, though.
www.atarimania.com
Caféman, any music planned for the game? -- Atarimania http://www.atarimania.com
rockman_x_2002
Wow... excellent. What can I say. First time I've checked out this thing in a while and... wow... I'm amazed. I've always liked Adventure and RPG / adventure games in general. And this looks excellent! I gotta get a 5200 now... lol.
DracIsBack
This looks awesome. Can't wait to get the XE cart you release after the 5200 one. Keep up the great work. This is levels beyond other 5200 games visually.
Starman
Is there an easter egg in this one, too? . Mike
Saikyo
more than likely there will be 2!
+Cafeman
Hope I don't miss anyone's questions. @Nukester: I wish I could, too. @atarimania.com: yes, there will be some music in there, but it's pretty quiet right now. That's one of the last things I do. @jnice: no, the Hand cannot take on the Dragon by himself. @easteregg question: I can honestly say that THERE IS NO HIDDEN EASTER EGG SURPRISE IN ADVENTURE II. Yet. 1.5 days until Philly Classic 5!
StanJr
After playing Cafeman's latest version at Philly (and draining all he has to know about the railroad industry... ) I have to say, this baby is going to be sweet. The demo had lots of fun stuff (little Troll guy kept bugging me! ), like Dragons that do not die at the first slash of the sword, and looked GREAT. This will be a reason to get a 5200 if you don't already have one.
MegaManFan
Mr. Cafeman sir, it was great seeing you at the con, it was great seeing Adventure II at the con, and it will be great to own this game when it's finally released. Thank you, for all you do!
Gabriel
I checked this out in MESS last night, and even though I couldn't really control anything due to the emulator, I was extremely impressed. I'm very interested in acquiring a cart of the final version.
Atariboy
"and draining all he has to know about the railroad industry" You guys railfans? Or do you both work for a railroad?
+Cafeman
You guys railfans? Or do you both work for a railroad? I work for a railroad. Stan Jr, I guess he is a railfan.
liquidcross
I work for a railroad. Stan Jr, I guess he is a railfan. Same here. The railfan part, I mean. And the impetus for my acquiring a 5200 was definitely Adventure II.
