Paperboy

The reason I asked for it was because I saw the Paperboy ad in an Antic Magazine. Does that mean that publishers at that time were advertising games for games that are yet to be developed?

Oh well I guess my only option is to play the Atari ST version.

Thanks,

Don

Antic had quite a bit of ST crossover readership, so I'm sure that Mindscape regarded this as advertising money well spent.

I think that, perhaps, Mindscape was undecided with respect for its plans for the A8 at the time that it drafted its ads for "Paperboy" and "Gauntlet", and ended up dropping "Paperboy" as a title as A8 software sales slowed.

doncleth... :D nothing changed in game industrie since 80s... advertice games (and create a buzz) for games which MIGHT come... see games nowadays as well (gamecube version? etc....) and in 80/90s we had 4-5 platforms (spectrum, armstrad, c64, amiga, atari st, sometimes PC)
