Atari Arcade Conversion Carts

Hi can anyone tell me if there is a cart version of the brilliant game Mr Do as I’m trying to collect all the arcade conversions I can get me hands on but ideally on cart. Also is the centipede cart the bad conversion I have played on emulation or the 5200 version which is the best on any any platform?

Mr. Do! for the 8-bits is indeed a brilliant arcade conversion, but it was, unfortunately, only released on disk and cassette. I'm sure, however, that Nir Dary would make you one if you asked. :)

Nir has burned Mr. Do! onto a DataSoft "multicart" with a bunch of other excellent DS arcade conversions (Pac-Man, Pole Position, Pooyan) that's well worth getting.

Our version of Centipede is the "crappy" one, but you can get the 5200 version on cart if you order the 5200 MultiCart from Sunmark.

There were a lot of 1/2 decent arcade conversions made for the a8.

A multi-cart I'd be intersted in purchasing (as long as it didn't contain any typos) would be one that has all of the arcade conversions created for a8 including:

pac-man

donkey kong

jungle hunt

asteroids

space invaders (and/or deluxe invaders)

jr. pac-man

super pac-man

ms pac-man

pooyan

mr. do

mr. do's castle

gauntlet

pole position

robotron

joust

centipede (and/or 5200 version)

mario bros (w/translator built in to fix sound, and/or xe version)

crystal castles (and/or xe version)

super cobra

moon patrol (w/translator built in to fix sound)

star wars

frogger (with background music)

defender

dig dug

galaxian

millipede

missile command

berzerk

stargate

kangaroo (w/translator built in)

...and I'm sure there were others that don't immediately come to mind. That's be almost as cool as my mame cab.

-OR-

I guess a person could make his own cart using one of atarimax's flash carts, eh?

These were never released for the A8, but are available for our machines on the 5200 Multicart.

mr. do's castle

A "semi-official" cart release for the A8, but it's still a crappy game.

gauntlet

As stated in other threads, no one's been able to get this working perfectly from cart yet.

pole position

robotron

joust

centipede (and/or 5200 version)

mario bros (w/translator built in to fix sound, and/or xe version)

crystal castles (and/or xe version)

moon patrol (w/translator built in to fix sound)

defender

dig dug

galaxian

millipede

missile command

A good idea for an "Atari Arcade" multicart.

Here are fixed sounds versions of Mario Brothers, Moon Patrol, and Gremlins: http://www.atariage.com/forums/download.php?id=15192
