liquidcross
Is it just me, or have Atari computer prices been ridiculous on eBay lately? Or maybe it's not just lately, since I only recently started looking. Anyway, is there a more reliable and cost-effective online source for finding 800XLs, 130XEs, etc? I've gone to Best Electronics' site and MyAtari.com, but their prices are in the stratosphere.

liquidcross
I think I'd gone there...their prices are good, but the shipping costs were really high, if I remember correctly. I'll have to doublecheck. Thanks!
oesii
Chris is an honest retailer so if the shipping is high it's probably because the computer parts are heavy.
thx1138
If you like long-shots................ try CJE Micros in Worthing, West Sussex, England. I bought my BBC Master Compact from there in 1986. Tried buying one on eBay in 20001-3 and they went for silly money. Wandered in there again summer last year, and jokingly asked if they still sold them. They did! They got me a mint one from the stock room for £60. I had come by train, and so for an additional £15 they arranged shipping too! I was reminded of this, as I was fiddling with a BBC Master just now.
