ApolloBoy
If there's a HSC in the 2600 and the 8-bit forums, why not the 5200 and 7800 (I'll try putting up a 5200 HSC soon)? So, who likes the idea (and I'm guessing everyone wants one)?
jedijeff
Sign me up. The 7800 has some of my favorite games. Jeff

homerwannabee
The only problem with the atari 7800 High Score Club is that after a year you run out of games to play

Trip_Cannon
Count me in! I'm new to all this so what are the rules and how can you tell if a score is legit?
Stingray
In the 2600 HSC it's just going on the honor system. This is all just for fun, I can't imagine anyone is cheating. -S
Trip_Cannon
In that case... I was just playing Asteroids and scored... One- Hundred Billion points!!
ApolloBoy
Alright, I've got 9 members, let's get started! But first, here are the rules... 1: You may play on both an emulator and the real system. 2: You may only play the games that have been voted on. NO EXCEPTIONS. 3: NO CHEATING. 4: Once a game has been voted on, it can't be voted on for 2 HSCs. 5: Most importantly, have FUN! Now we'll start the voting. The games are divided into 3 catagories: Arcade Classics, Computer Classics and 7800 Originals. Here the candidates for both catagories (I'll take requests on the next HSC)... Arcade Classics Dig Dug (2) Mario Bros. (4) Food Fight Computer Classics One-on-One Basketball Fight Night Tower Toppler (6) 7800 Originals Fatal Run Ninja Golf (3) Motor Psycho (3) Cast your votes! Goochman
Dig Dug Tower TOppler Motor Physco BTW, If you play Food Fight see if there is a harder starting level - I got over 3 million on the default starting level which is too easy
ApolloBoy
Dig Dug (or do we vote all categories?) BTW, If you play Food Fight see if there is a harder starting level - I got over 3 million on the default starting level which is too easy You have to vote for all three catagories. +-^CrossBow^-
Count me in on this one too I guess...But I will probably have to stagger my playing between 7800 and 5200 games. I say... Mario Bros. Because you can cheat very easily in Dig Dug with the unlimited continues trick... Tower Toppler... Ninja Golf (Because I don't have the other two games...yet...)
