+DamonicFury
As we all know, some 7800's play games that other 7800's will not. As it turns out, my 7800 won't play Konami's Strategy X. The problem is with the controls... I can fire, but I can't move. The cartridge works fine with my 2600. Does anyone else have this problem? It's not a big deal... I'm just curious if Strategy X belongs on the short list of games that have problems with the 7800.
kheffington
I just tried Strategy X on a 7800. The cart does not work at all, it appears to be a problem with the size of the cart, it does not fit correctly. I tried another Konami cart, Pooyan, the same thing, the cart does not fit the slot correctly.
+DamonicFury
That's interesting... I didn't have problems inserting it... and Pooyan seemed to work fine. Does any one know for sure if there are significant differences in the cartridge slots between different 7800 models? It sure seems like that might be the case, in addition to the various compatibility differences.

+DamonicFury
D'oh! That's right... Strategy-X is just quirky that way... even on a 2600. Thanks for the reminder... sorry for sounding a false alarm.
