Paul Slocum
Got it. I'll get a better scan when I can. -paul
Adrian M
Haven't seen it yet, but I'll buy a copy of Wired tonight. Congrats, by the way! I'm looking forward to your RPG!
Paul Slocum
Not sure if it's out in the US yet. My buddy that scanned it got a copy in the UK. I haven't been able to find a copy yet. -paul

Regardless, I'll check Barnes & Noble tonight after work. Offhand, does anyone know if Wired publishes a UK edition (as some mags do) or did the scan come from the US edition? sku_u
That's great! It's nice to see Atari homebrew projects trickling out into the mainstream media.
Jess Ragan
You can thank Chris Kohler for the write-up. I knew the guy back when he was in high school publishing video game newsletters. He's now a regular contributor to Wired, so I guess it's safe to say that he's hit the big time. JR
chairmonkey4406
What does the cover for the wired that this article is in look like?
Big Player
"Yes, the graphics are painfully blocky . . ." I think I'm going to be hearing that on my death bed.
chrisbid
why hasnt the HSR homepage not mentioned the game at all? are they just going to put it on their site when its complete?
Albert
Congratulations, Paul! Now you really have to finish it! ..Al
AtariDude
I don't usually buy Wired magazine (usually visit the web site though). Which month is it just in case it is not currently on the newstand?
Paul Slocum
It's the May issue, not the one with Peter Jackson on the cover. I haven't seen the cover yet. The Chapmans are going to put a "coming soon" note on the website somewhere (probably in the store section). -paul
Gateway
Just wanted to verify that it's in the May issue, page 074, under a story about a new Transformers game for the PS2. The cover has an apple on green leaves and says: "The Future of Food". Just got the issue in the mail today( subscription ). Trotter recently told me that he's jealous. AtariDude
Went to my newstand today but they still have only the April issue. Will have to wait a few days I guess to get the May issue.
mos6507
Note, this isn't the first time Wired has written a blurb about a classic game project. There was a writeup about Stella Gets a New Brain (volume 1) in an issue circa 1996/97, the one with George Lucas on the cover.
