Whisper
The strangest thing! I recieved this cart today: http://www.atariage.com/cart_page.html?Sof...areLabelID=2285 And no matter how well I clean the contacts I only get this game in black and white. I have tried different consoles and it's the same on all of them! Is this game broken? I thought it wouldn't reaspond at all if broken. The game is fully playable, but only in black and white. I want the pretty colors the screencaps on AtariAge show me!
AtariDude
I don't know if it makes a difference or not but which 2600 system are you running the game on? Did you check to see if perhaps one of the switches might have been set to black and white? The first 2600 system had 6 switches and one of the switches allowed someone to switch between black and white / color by changing the position of the switch. Whisper
Ehm, like I said, I have tried it on two systems. My 6-switch and my Jr. A Both only display the game in b/w only, regardless of what position the color/b-w switch is set to.
YOK-dfa
Are you sure it's a PAL cart? What does the code read in the bottom right corner of the main label (EIZ-001-041 in the picture in the AA database)? I think you got yourself another NTSC cart Cheers, Raymond
Whisper
Ehm, by now I think I would know what the difference between PAL and NTSC is... And yes, I know what the b/w switch is for.. *sigh* Check the link to the pic I posted, it's PAL. EIZ-001-
Whisper
So what could it be? A haunted cart? Should I call an exorcist?
