joeybastard
Over the weekend I finally found another copy of Tunnel Runner. I haven't played it on a real VCS in a long long time and I'm really enjoying it. There's one problem that I can't remember from the old days. After I get the key, it will not let me use the "double doors" and skip a level. I just get the thud noise like I don't have a key. I looked at the manual here on AA and there doesn't seem to be anything extra I need to find besides the key. What am I doing wrong?
Fellow Atari Man
You have to run across a Single Up door first, face it, and then you'll be able to use a Double Up door from there

I don't even remember running across this in the game -- recently or back in the day. But then I don't think I paid any attention to what the double up doors were. I just went for the key, and then the exit. :-)
StanJr
Nope, if I recall correctly, its mentioned in the manual.
SS
There’s an addendum added to my manual.
joeybastard
Ah Ha! I didn't get the addendum to the manual so I didn't know about that. Many thanks
