I have files in a dir in a mydos simulated drive. I want to copy them to another directory. I use ape simulated drives. I am wondering if there is any easy way to copy the files from one directory to another directory.

Now I want these directorys to be dir that were made on the disk, not the main directory of the disk.

So i have a simulated disk drive, it has :basic and :load and I have a file that should be moved from the :basic directory to :load

I will need to do this a lot, so its best if I can do this without moving the file to a floppy or other simulated disk, and then back to where I want it.

Are you talking about subdirectories made on a mydos disk image, or subdirectories of your hard disk you see on a pc-mirror drive?

If you have created subdirectories on a disk image you use the > character as a path delimiter, for example you can press C for copy, then enter:

BASIC>FILENAME.TXT,LOAD>

Which could copy filename.txt out of :BASIC and into :LOAD

or C then

BASIC>,LOAD>

which would copy everything from :BASIC to :LOAD
