themrfreeze
Hi all. Just wondering if anybody has a working Atari 400 laying around that they'd like to get rid of for a few bucks. I was playing around with an 8-bit emulator today (I was big into 8-bits in the 80s, so I get nostalgic for them now and again), and my 2 year old got enormous jollies typing things into the 400/800 memo pad. Between that and the mylar keyboard on the 400s being good for kids, I think getting him one is in order. Feel free to E-mail me if you have one. Thanks! Nukey Shay
I disagree. Go for an older 800. Those things are build really sturdy, and have the advantage of teaching good typing skills.
themrfreeze
I agree that the 800 is more useful than the 400, but I fully expect my son to dump at least one cup of juice on it. Best to get a 400 for him to play with now, and something more useful later on when he actually wants to start using a computer.
liquidcross
I think ziggystar may have one. Send him a PM.
