MattG/Snyper2099
Does anyone have a loose or comlete copy of this cart for sale or trade? I not had any luck finding this in the last five years! Does anyone know if it was only released in the US? If it was released in other countries, please share any info.
Callipygous
I don't have a spare, however, Andrew Krieg shows one for trade. I don't know if his site is up to date. He seems to be rather inactive in recent years.
Andre
Hi, Does anyone know if it was only released in the US? If it was released in other countries, please share any info. here you can find both (known) release versions along with their boxes: http://www.atarimania.com/lst_8bits.php?me...&btn_sauver.y=0 Probably there was a release in Germany (with box text and manual in German) as well... Callipygous
Are these different versions? Always thought is was the same cart in a different box. In fact, AFAIK, Creative Sparks and Thorn are the same. It was just a marketing campaign.
Andre
Are these different versions? No, both carts have the same game Are there other Creative Sparks re-releases of Thorn EMI carts in anyone's collection? André
Tempest
I had a Creative Sparks version of Orc Attack at one point. Traded it off ages ago though. Tempest
Callipygous
Natuarally, one immediately shows up for auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8106119681&rd=1 But then "My auctions are not open to north American bidders" Although he is shipping to "United Kingdom, Middle East, Mexico and Central America, Africa, South America, Asia, Australasia, Europe, Caribbean"
MattG/Snyper2099
If anyone can help me out and win this so I could buy it from them, please contact me ASAP. Sorry for the short notice. I'm willing to pay $40 for this game. Currently no bids... Help!
video game addict
I think Sunmark paid slightly more for his copy by a factor of 10 maybe!
deathtrappomegranate
Wow, that went cheap! I have a spare loose one, if you didn't hook up with that one.
jdh
I didn't bother bidding I thought it would go for £30 plus. The same seller had Orc Attack which fetched a much bigger sum, despite one ending earlier without any bids for £5. http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws3/eBayISAPI.dll?...item=8106119700
deathtrappomegranate
I know that Carnival Massacre and Orc Attack were both available as Creative Sparks releases in the UK. Don't know about the other Thorn EMI games though. The carts are identical (labels and ROM), only the boxes are different.
MattG/Snyper2099
Thanks for all the info guys. That really helps to clear up the info about releases in other countries. Marco has agreed to purchase this one for me. I'll post some pics in this thread when I recieve it if anyone wants to see the manual, back of the box, ect. I was thinking about going for the orc attack but then I forgot about the "no shipping to the US" factor. That seller is missing out on business by not shipping to North America.
