tiw
Could you add a switch to the CC2 to break power to the cart and reset it that way instead of powering off/on the 7800 when loading a new game?
Bruce Tomlin
That won't reset the 7800. The 7800 has a latched port (U11 for those of you with the home game) to completely disable the Maria chip when running 2600 games, and unless the 7800 is properly reset, it won't go back to 7800 mode again. It looks like the connection between U10 pin 13 and U12 pin 12 needs to be broken and replaced with a resistor (1K ohms should work) to avoid messing up the output from U10, then a switch needs to be put between U12 pin 12 and ground. This would reset the 7800 properly.
