Bruce Tomlin
I started this a few years ago, then had to get a life. But thanks to my new CC2, I was able to shake out the bugs in the keypad scan code. Use keypad controllers. (yes, plural) The screen color is intentional. :-) Now I have to see if I can make the display do something interesting. The last thing I did to it this morning was to use an undocumented instruction to save 4 cycles per line. Which leaves me with 22 cycles per line. At the end of the line. dialer.zip
Bruce Tomlin
So nobody had anything to say about a 2600 making touch-tone dial sounds? No "how did you get the TIA to do that?" or anything?
Rob Mitchell
I like it! Is this the very first homebrew to use actually use the keyboard controllers? (The Testcart checks the functions of the keyboard controllers.) Rob Mitchell, Atlanta, GA
Bruce Tomlin
Hmmm... maybe it is. Anyhow, check out the more polished version in the "2600 red box" thread.
