Sarah Silverman

I can't say that I ever found D-list actress/stand-up Sarah Silverman especially amusing (typically one expects a so-called comedianne to be, oh I don't know, funny perhaps?) But I picked up the latest issue of Chunklet, a great rock zine out of Atlanta, and there she is, talkin' trash about my 2600. There's an interview with Silverman where she says straight up, "I think Atari is kind of gay." What a coincidence--that's exactly what I think of her, too.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I think Sarah Silverman is very funny, intelligent and doesn't hold back on anything. And I find female comics generally unfunny.

Can't please everyone.

At least she's not making up lies about being in Pitfall commercials.

Sarah Silverman is hot. At least kind of hot.

So she hates the VCS, I doubt her opinion means much to anyone outside of herself and her friends.

The last time I saw her she was on one of those late night talk shows, so I don't think she's got much pull. ;) :D

I've worked with Sarah a number of times and I find her to be very funny. And when I saw her earlier this week to record DVD commentary for the "Greg The Bunny" box set she didn't mention her hatred for the Atari VCS. Perhaps she's softening her position. I wonder if it's been upgraded from "gay" to "bi."

In any event, next time I see her I'll give her a hard time about her crazy notions about classic video games. Or perhaps I'll force her to play with my new cuttle cart 2.

I think the first time I saw her was on "Politically Incorrect," but I might have seen her on something else before that. She's semi-hot (or used to be) and semi-funny and I was surprised to see her in an episode of "Star Trek: Voyager" back in the 1990s. At the time, I thought she was just a stand-up, but take a look:

Although she's been in some movies and on TV over the years, I don't think anyone (besides a few nose picking college freshmen) really cares what she thinks about anything. I guess next we'll be worrying about what Janeane Garofalo thinks about the Atari 2600.

Janeanne Garofalo.  Yummy.

Indeed!

Yep, yummy, but what in the heck has she done to her hair? Is that for a movie or does she think that she looks good as a blonde with dark roots showing?

i have the ben stiller show on dvd, and on the commentary track she mentions that she was (at the time) "salt and pepper", so the blonde act i guess is easier to cover up the gray.
