ryanawilkes
I have the Atari 'woody' 2600. I got it working and the games included are all the games with the text only on the cartridges. Does anyone know if the newer type games (with labels on) are compatible with the atari I have? Do I work on the basis as if the cartridge is the same style they will work? please let me know, I can then be a happy player!
Nukey Shay
Yes...provided they don't say that they work for the 7800 only (which more or less look the same otherwise).
sku_u
All games made for the VCS will work on any system. About 99% of them work on any of the systems without any issues, but some like Telegames carts are not recommended for older systems because their cartridges are an extremely tight fit and can get stuck in the system. ATARIPITBULL
Also know that there are NTSC carts used in North America and PAL carts that are used in Europe and Australia.
