Shawn Jefferson
I think that you need to have your Atari computer connected as well with this interface since it seems to get power from the Atari, when in 10502PC mode.
Plastron
Yep i have Atari 800XL connected to 1050 disk drive then a connection out of the 1050 to the sio2pc then a cable to the serial port. The red power light on the card is lit up and the second green light flashes. But when i run the 2.09 software all but coms two say can not connect and coms two say there is no disk detected. I have a happy chip fitted will thatmake any difference ?
miker
Maybe try going to Opitions>APE Configuration>Basic Serial Setup and check APE Interface Port and Serial Control options. For example I set them adequately to COM 2 and RI and it works without any problems. Also there are rumours that the serial port APE works on better set to 115200 bauds (some guy told me that - but I didn't see any difference before and after it). classics
It sounds like you are doing everything correctly. If you cant get it to work at all you might want to exchange your interface, it may be damaged. Steve
