Reno Nevada
The tip of one of my 2600's wires came apart...the wire that goes into the A/B switch box. Can the end just be cut off and a new plug end be spliced onto it? If so, is it a pretty "standard" male end or is it something tough to find? Let me guess...go to Radio Shack, right? The outlet adapter unplugs from the back of the Atari... The A/B switch wire doesn't...it's hardwired onto the circuit board. (It's an ATARI Atari...not the Sears one.) Susuwatari
You probably will need a new plug. It's RCA BTW and Rat Shack sells replacement RCA plugs for like 8 packs for a few bucks. All you need are a soldering iron, wire cutter, and plier.
