bjk7382
What's the toggle switch used for? It switches between 16k and 32k. (It also has an "off" position for some reason also) Yeah I have always thought the Eproms and roms were cool since I started collecting. Funny thing is though I only have about 8-10 Eproms, and I have about 200 Roms. I don't want to derail this thread, but here is a picture of the Rom reader (right) and the eprom reader (left) (I have also recreated the rom reader 2 times. One in a coleco cart and another in an atari cart)
CPUWIZ
@SS: He means 2 kilobytes and 4 kilobytes.
Crimefighter
I finally got the thing apart using a small screwdriver to wedge in between the two parts of the shell. But I found out after opening it that it was wired for just two games after all and there was nothing on the other switch--the amidar ripoff called spiderdroid was labeled "spiderman" on the chip. WildBillTX
Do the new AtariAge carts use a center screw like the old ones to hold them together, or do they just snap together? I always hated messing up the label to fix a Atari cart.
