mos6507
The resulting show, although completely obscure to the mainstream, is still firmly embedded into the collective subconscious of every GenXer.
Mindfield
Can't say I remember that show, though it looks bad enough to have been run alongside that wretched television-ized version of Logan's Run. Doesn't look much like Crane though. Not goofy enough. :-)
SteveW
Was David Crane really on Ark II? I can understand if he never wanted to let anyone know that he worked on that show.

ATARIPITBULL
There is a blast from the past! I only remember the show slightly but could not tell you the name of the show or the characters for the life of me.
SteveW
I just remember a little bit about the show, including a guest appearance by the actor who played Dr. Smith on Lost In Space.

Nukey Shay
No wonder what happened to The Dig! All that source code was overwritten with ARKII and Batgirl?? Oh, the tragedy!

Actually, what happened is I started getting billed an extra $100 a month because of the amount of diskspace the message index and the file attachments were taking up, so I'm in the process of trying to host it off my cable modem instead. WildBillTX
I think it was made by Filmation who was doing the Shazam and Isis shows around the same time. Low budget sets, bad acting, bad scripts, and I remember one show where Robbie the Robot made a guest appearance. From what I barely remember, it took place in the future after nuclear war had turned civilization back to the cavemen. And they rode around in a wierd looking Spaceship/SUV thing saving people. Basically it was Star Trek on land, with a chimpanzee.

Nukey Shay
It was my Damnation Alley fix after I read the book and everyone else but me saw the movie and said it was pretty neat Then I saw the movie...and I wished that I just stuck with the book. I wonder if the screenwriter even read the three-paragraph summary of the book on the back??

Cootster
Enough with the porno picture, please! Wasn't funny the first time, and it isn't funny now! No, it is indeed funny. . . Perhaps not in the best of taste, but funny . . . I wonder if Crane knows of its existence.
