TuzenTCA
Hello, Does anyone know where I can set up a collection page to display all of my Atari stuff? I have seen some type of collection page at IGN, yet I can't seem to get it to work. If anyone knows a place that has a good collection type-site interface then let me know. I am not interested in where I can make a site such as Geocities. I would like to be able to have pictures of all my systems, games, and accessories. If anyone can help me with this dilemma then please leave a post. Thanks, James
video game addict
Angelfire? Seriously, IGN is only a LIST AFAIK, no pictures there, if you want to really build a page try Geoshities or any of the other freebies if you don't have any webspace provided by your ISP. You can use Cart Commander to create & maintain a full listing & it can automatically convert to html for you as simple as a little C&P work to have your own page with a nicely laid out cart listing of your collections, use some webmonkey to get pics set up if need be, and upload them, it's honestly not that hard. TuzenTCA
Yes like that post. Great Idea, and discussion!
AcidTone
That is a great idea. It can be done pretty easy. The only problem with it would be the the storage that would be a pretty hefty DB. I am currently working on a database of my own on my web site which lets me enter the game manufacturer (via pull down box), name , label type, Date, Model Number, Rarity, condition, box, manual, instructions, ect. and then the data base can be sorted by company ect. Just a little project for me to work on when I am bored
Donald_Ferren
I'd be rather hesitant about posting pictures and info about my collection online. I'd constantly worry about someone finding out my address, coming over when I'm gone, breaking in and taking it all. Just my 2 cents. Now, I have set up an online admin for me to catalog and manage my collection, but it's very safely password protected on a very secure server and not linked from anywhere. FireTiger
Nothing about your address or having to post pictures... You just could if you wanted.
