keilbaca
Hey all, some of my activision games, the end label is disconnected from the cart, but the top label is still on. is there a safe glue to reapply the end label back to the cart? AcidTone
I was wonderingthe same thing. I have the same problem with some of my carts.
Voch
I've been simply using Scotch double-sided tape to repair my cart labels or to reattach ones that have been completely removed. I have no idea what the long-term implications are but it seems to work fine. Voch
Tsukasa
Try an acid-free glue stick.
Spud
Try an acid-free glue stick. Is not using this what causes acti-plaque on their carts?
Tsukasa
I dunno, it works for me.

The only advice I can give you is make sure you get the tape to the very edge of the label with out sticking it out in under it. If you stick it out in under it then it looks crappy, but if you don't get it close to the edge the lebel starts to peel up and the rest wont, so eventually it will crease and or tear off. Hope this helps, James
RMila75
I also suggest an acid-free "photo-safe" glue stick. Just don't apply too much of it. You need less than you might think. Experiment with scraps of paper on some other plastic surface first before you try it on your labels.
kemsted
one of my carts did this so i just used a little bit if elmers glue, does it really matter wat kind of glue you use?
+Nathan Strum
A really good type of tape to use is Scotch's "Poster Tape". It's fairly low tack, so you can often just roll it back off if you need to remove it. It's also not as thick as regular double-sided tape, so it won't leave lumps. Mindfield
Oddly enough, I actually use a UHU stick. It's intended for paper on paper, but it has just enough stick to adhere it to plastic. It's probably not as permanent a solution, but it works, and it's probably not as harmful to labels as a liquid or penetrating glue, since it stays on the surface. Cobra Kai
I use Elmers Glue Stick Works like a charm. I stayed away from using double sided tape because of experience using it on posters in the past. If the tape starts to wear out, it will peel from the cartridge easy enough, but you will have a heck of a time peeling it from the label without tearing it. vb_master
I use tacky glue.
Red 5
I use Elmer's too. Seems to work best and in five years, I've never seen any bad effects later on.
Tsukasa
Don't use superglue! It leaves a white residue near where it is used, and causes discoloration in the label.
Mike OC
Back in '84, one of my goofy friends stuck an end label back on with a booger. It lasted a surprisingly long time.
