dykesr
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8119562850&rd=1 has anybody seen one of these before ???? RD
moycon
I had one. Was pretty damn cool. I sold it years ago. Not sure exactly where I got mine though....Maybe from a magazine?? Maybe they were giving them away free at some store? It basically says the name of a data age game and then a bunch of sci-fi sound effects. Chris-in-NJ
I had one. A local video-game store was giving them away to anyone who went into the store. I copied it onto a cassette shortly afterward, and still have the cassette. Every now and then I listen to it; I've heard it so many times that I know the dialogue practically by heart. As a side note, I won Encounter at L5 last week. Can remember it now: "Level 3, encounter at L5. Severe casualties." "Corpanion cubes." "Stay away from me!" "We are probes. Seek sector 2." "L5, damage control. Come in please."
SS
An MP3 of it is located here on AA if you're interested in just hearing it : http://www.atariage.com/audio/mindscape.mp3
dykesr
cool is there any more MP3s of those data age records? RD
Mindfield
As far as I know there is only the one record.
dykesr
Oh well that is good to know but that is starnge that they would advertise for other ones but not make others. I guess we can blame that on several factors. RD
NovaXpress
The never advertised any other records. This one was a promotion for their first five games. You could get it through mail order or select stores.
Troy_Whelan
Oddly enough, I still have the record but I no longer have a turn-table (record player) to listen to it!
Godzilla
someone on here was nice enough to sell one to me, so I have one :-)
