MegaManFan
Are there any extra boxes? One thing always seems to get crushed in my luggage and this time it was Bristles.

Godzilla
Just got my bristles, really nicely done. Really looks and feels like a vintage release. Can't wait to see flip & flop and boulder dash 2 :-)
bjk7382
So was I the only one that thought they put the serial number stickers in a bad spot? I know it is nice to have it "sealed" but getting a reproduction and having to take off and move a sticker just to get the game out isn't that cool. I just ended up moving it to the bottom flap of the box. (Mine is either 13 or 73. They made their 1 look like a 7. But I am pretty sure they haven't sold 70+ copies of this yet)

Mine is #9 of 100.
ziggystar
Having the sticker on the box is bad for those of us that want to PLAY the game, but GOOD for the collectors that want tobe able to prove their box was never opened!

Yes, but you can easily open it from the bottom and leave the sticker intact as I've already done.
Godzilla
yea, opens fine from the bottom, sticker stays nicely intact. No complaints there. LOL haven't played it yet. Heck, haven't even had time to play my stonix yet, either.
CrazyChris
Yeah, I thought the sticker was in a bad place. It would have been better on the cartridge, or somewhere else on the box. I didn't think to open it from the bottom, because I thought the cartridge was only accessible from the top, like most 5200 games. I pretty much destroyed it getting it off, and then where do you put it? It's a shame because they did such a nice job with the box and label. I find the game almost unplayable with an analog controller, looks like it needs a digital controller. Chris

Yes, I found it pretty difficult with the 5200 controller, but that is what the redemption adapter is for

+Allan
Does the bristles manual actually say how to display your serial number? I dont have my copies yet so I havent seen the book. Steve Are you saying that the serial number on each box is programmed into each game cartridge? Allan
holygrailvideogames.com
Mine is #80 out of 100. I bought it from someone who went to the show. I too wish that the sticker wasn't on the box. I prefer to have my boxes without stickers.
classics
Allan, Thats the way I prepared them, I dont know if they actually got manufactured that way yet though. I am thinking they were because in the announcement by Atari2600.com they mentioned the unique serial number. "Each copy of BRISTLES has an internal serial number within the game code which matches the external number." In case its not in the manual, heres a clue on finding this egg: you need two controllers plugged in to find the code. Steve
H1HummerAlpha
Placed our order for one yesterday. Just left a message with Atari2600.com regarding the choice of serial number. I asked to have an 8 in it. 8 means or equates fortune in Chinese. It's been super so far :-)
