Small but cool find...

I got a Standard Case Spy Hunter today for the Atari 2600. $3 Again... small find but cool nonetheless.

 

I found it at Game Exchange (of all places). On the front of the label the letters "BC" were written in a black marker. I was able to rub almost all of it off without any damage to the label. On the end label there was the letter "B". That one came off mostly... but is still there.

 

Thank god I was never one to WRITE on labels when I was younger. I never played this game, so I'll have to give it a try later!

Nice find!! Great game and pretty hard to find. I hate to admit that I paid $10 for a copy with a really faded label... It's a really fun game though - I don't even feel bad about the tenner (but I wish it was $3 ).

I usta hate it when the Goodwill thrift shops would stick their damn price tag right on the front of the label. Why coulnt they stick it on the black plastic? But no, I have to sit there and try to get the glue off etc.

Well at least you got the marker off. Must not have been a permanent marker!

Sometimes... if you take a dry erase marker and go over the permenant marker it will come off..

Luckily the thrift stores I go to always puts the stickers on the back of the carts. Nice find though because it is a fun game to play. I picked one up at a thrift store for $2. The label was a little dirty though.
