vb_master
How do you get the label off of the Supercharger? I've been using a hairdrier, and the glue hasn't melted. So, how do you get it off?

vb_master
I changed it back to the original just before you posted.
Thomas Jentzsch
I changed it back to the original just before you posted. Hairdryer worked for me, but I almost burned my fingers. I has to be very hot.

vb_master
The chip came this morning, so I did the hairdrier method and it worked. I opened it up and a carefully did the modifacation. I popped it in and put the switch in the way it was in the diagram. Loaded Boing! (PD), crashed... Turned off, switched switch, and loaded Boing! (PD) and [drumroll please] it worked! Now to drill a hole and put it all back together.
Albert
Hm... as long as it takes... as long as you can stand the heat... as long as it doesn't start to burn... I know you were joking, but you have to be careful when using a hair dryer (or heat gun) to remove labels from items like this. You can easily melt the plastic if you leave the hair dryer / heat gun over one spot too long. Also, some labels (such as Atari's multi-layered Silver labels on 2600 and 5200 carts) are notoriously stubborn to remove and cannot be removed easily by heat alone. ..Al
