dykesr
I am just curious, i would relaly like to know the history behind the atlantis II cart. How many were produced, who here at AA has a copy, How much would one go for if it were ever to go up for auction, and any other info that you might think would be interesting to me maybe info on any body that actually atended the contest. thanks RD
Albert
Well, I don't know that anyone knows the answers to all of your questions, but we wrote up a little feature on Atlantis II some time ago, after Doug Korekach kindly sent us a copy of the game so we could dump the cartridge and release the binary: Atlantis II Found I personally do not have a copy of Atlantis II, and I don't think anyone really knows how many copies were sent out. The cartridges themselves look like normal Atlantis cartridges, and the box simply had a white "ATLANTIS II" sticker placed on it. So any loose Atlantis carts could potentially be an Atlantis II, and the only way to know for sure is to fire them up and look for the visual differences (the font used for the score). ..Al
Saikyo
According to the database Atlantis II only exists in carts that have the night scene, so you can rule out any of the day scene carts. Oh man there's gotta be another sign that its an Atlantis II!
walter_J64bit
Can I use it with an unmoded Supercharger?
highinfidelity
Since Atlantis crashes, and AII is essentially the same game with few modifications, I would say no.
