Nukey Shay
What the heck is he doing?? Most 2600 games have 2-player options.
Marco
I wonder what Atari Charles has to say about this amorous guy... YOK-dfa
Just in case you are wondering, the text in the picture (which is in finnish) roughly translates to "Passions are the worst of all... ofcourse..." Doesn't make much sense to me but then again, my finnish sucks big time... On a side note, where did you find this picture? I always thought that there were virtually no Atari 2600's sold in Finland back in the days.
Marco
It's from an advert for Hot Shot games, which lists all 24 Hot Shot games. A Finnish collector found it a couple of years ago. Cheers, Marco
SteveW
There was a TurboGraphx-16 magazine ad that had the same concept, a frustrated lingere clad woman looking frustratedly at her man, while he plays R-Type. I wonder if the NEC guys saw that Finnish ad.
mvigor
Using photoshop to adjust brightness and contrast you can see that the clothes are quite see-thru.

HawgWyld
Now, here's clear evidence I'm a married man, and have been for some time. When I first looked at that photo, I thought, "Hmmm. They must have been married for at least three years. Look at the way he's ignoring her!"
Red 5
The irony is that he's playing 'Custer's Revenge' THE IRONY ! ! ! !

Jeffy Arensmeyer
Does the cartridge look like it's not plugged in all of the way? Even though there's a game on the TV screen, that cartridge looks loose. And is the game Black Hole or Space Raider? Neither seems to match the label. ò¿ó

Godzilla
Well, based on the picture on the night stand, at least he took time out from playing the 2600 to breed.
Jeffy Arensmeyer
Well, based on the picture on the night stand, at least he took time out from playing the 2600 to breed. He probably just never removed the printed picture that came in the frame. Any ideas as to what game that is? Didn't some Brazilian carts also have similar labels (i.e. Hand drawn picture with the bubble-type font, typically yellow or white)? ò¿ó
Fellow Atari Man
Does the cartridge look like it's not plugged in all of the way? Even though there's a game on the TV screen, that cartridge looks loose. And is the game Black Hole or Space Raider? Neither seems to match the label. Not to mention he'd have a bit of a problem using the action button by pressing it with his pinky, with the way he's holding it...
