crc_73
It might be blasphemy asking about Sega stuff here, but I was wondering if there is a site of similar quality to AtariAge dedicated to Sega? I'd be particularly be interested in checking out Game Gear stuff, like hardware, games, rarity, box and manual scans. I'm only interested because I recently aquired a Game Gear and 3 games; the only reason I got it was because it came with an Atari Lynx deluxe carry case! I've paid less for the lot than I would have expected to pay for the case alone on somewhere like eBay. I've been checking out some of the games for the GG,, and might be interested in some of the puzzle type games (loved Baku Baku Animal on the PC, and Columns in the arcade, or rather MAME). Would be good to have a similar resource as AtariAge to check things out on the GG. I have done some searching, but the info seems to be well dispersed, and therefore difficult to digest. Makes me realise how excellent a resource AA actually is. Thanks for any direction.
gulag picture radio
There is a Sega site like what you're looking for. Sadly, I can't recall what its URL is. Sorry. It's nothing as good as this site, but it did offer some little coverage of Sega's systems, and possibly some Sega arcade stuff. All I can say is don' give up looking! BrandonJ33
I was able to find a list of puzzle games for Game Gear on GameFAQs. Just be advised that GameFAQs' database isn't always 100% reliable, so there's a chance some of the stuff may not exist/be available in the region you live. Link: http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gamegear/...ist_puzzle.html From there I recommend downloading an emulator and nabbing the ROMs from www.emuasylum.com and see if they're worth buying or not. Personally, I recommend whichever version of Bust A Move/Puzzle Bobble is available. Always fun.
AtariDude
Here is one with information on the Sega Genesis: http://www.genesiscollective.com/ Has a lot of pictures and has codes for Game Genie. I think you can even download the collective information as well.
crc_73
This is probably the best I've found so far, to whomever is interested: http://www.smspower.org Although it's primarily SMS, they have sections on the GG too, although not nearly as comprehensive as AA, but it seems they're working on it.
