Pokermania! First impressions.

Got the game today and have been playing it for a while now.

 

Pokermania comes with the cart (green PCB) and instructions in a nice box. It's the same type of German-style box as Sokomanina, Alpine Games, SIMIS etc has. But this box is white not orange. And I think it looks much better.

 

I had some trouble getting the game to start. Had to take it out and put in again quite a few times...

 

Pokermania is a poker-puzzle game. That means you are trying to get the best poker cards for most points. Pair, straight, flush etc. In each round you must get higher and higher points. You can select either normal or blind game. Blind game means you don't see the cards...this mode of course is much harder.

 

Graphics: Well this is not Alpine Games. But it works fine for this type of game.

 

Sound: The most impresive aspect of Pokermania is the music. You can chose from 8 different tunes. Using Duraniks Modplayer the music is awesome!

 

Controls: A bit slow response.. But it works fine once you get used to it.
