mehunglo
I've been doing some testing on some non-working lynx 2 boards to see if I can fix them. These are boards that look as if there's no power. But when I test chip Q12 there seems to be power. Does anyone know the values for Q12? Also , as I stated in the topic, are there any fuses? +karri
The Q12 seems to be the only "fuse" on board. At least it acts like one. Its purpose is to switch the Lynx on and off. So if you just short-circuit it then the Lynx should power up. Q12 is MTD3055 The modern replacement part with same pinout is called STD12N06. You can easily test if Q12 is the only broken part by connecting a wire from battery - (minus) to the headphone ground. The Lynx should power up when you do the connection. -- Karri
