Damon Plus
Yesterday, after 2-3 months without playing with my Atari, I needed a game to play for about 5 minutes. Asteroids? Why not? It´s been always a favourite of mine. I put the lights out and I played for 5, 10, 20... an hour and a half. Then I played Centipede and Missile Command and I played them all night. I don´t know what is, but Atari games keep me playing like no others. They are simple and repetitive, but very addictive. What are the games you could play for hours without noticing? Brad2600
I will second Keilbaca and recommend Tapper. I haven't played it in months and firing it up today, boy, I never realized it was that challenging in the later levels.

Mindfield
Tapper is also one of mine. I loved getting to the alien bar. :-) Also, Tunnel Runner and Montezuma's Revenge kept me fixated on my TV screen for entirely too long; they'd be right up there with Tapper as all-time favourites. joeybastard
Kaboom. I can just keep hitting reset and starting a new game all night. It's amazing after 20+ years I still suck at it. Also, highly addictive for me is the homebrews I got feom AA. Thrust Platinum, This Planet Sucks and Marble Craze. I suck at Marble Craze too but I just keep starting over. It usually requires my wife to come stop me from playing, "Just one more game..."
cryptik76
Seaquest is one of those games I can play for a very long time, as well as Keystone Kapers and Mountain King. In Mountain King I'm always trying to improve my route to the top of the mountain.

moycon
Yeah I'm with cryptik76, Seaquest just doesn't get old for me. Also give some of the homebrews a shot. http://www.atariage.com/store/index.php?cPath=21_24 Lots of good titles there to fire up and lose track of time!
