Blur2040
Hey there folks, I just got me a Lynx, along with Xybots, California Games, and Todd's Adventures in Slime World. All is well, but I need more games! I like the ones that I have, but I think I need more games that I can just pick up and play. California games does the job for now (I can pick up, play a round of something, then turn it off), but Xybots and Slime world take a little too much...you have to play for awhile to get something out of em. So, can anyone recommend me some games...and places to get them from?
wapchimp
Chips challenge, crystal mines 2 and blue lightining are 3 very easy games to get into. ebay is your best bet as the first 2 are dirt cheap
+Sauron
I think we need a mini-FAQ for first time Lynx owners, telling them where they can get good games for cheap. Most of the cheapo games you see on eBay are actually well worth getting.
Blur2040
I don't think theres much point in telling people what games are "good." It is all just a matter of opinion. I personally don't like Chips Challenge or Crystal Mines 2 That much. But...it does seem like they have a pretty decent following... Oh...and if you want to get things started... The AtariAge store has several great games for $3.95. The ones that don't totally suck include Xybots, Klax, Bill and Ted, Chips Challenge, Crystal Mines, and Hydra (Hey! It's kinda fun! Worth 3.95 anyway!). Ah, and that reminds me. I took the plunge and bought Rampart and Paperboy. Who doesn't love paperboy!
