Atari Charles
A second post and a new question related to the first: What are some screw-up that you have done while cleaning an Atari Cartridge or Atari game system, etc. Mine screw-up: I cleaned a few really gummy and gross carts with rubbing alchohol on the label. I got off the gunk but also took off some of the color of the label(this is before I discovered Goo-Gone ). Oh, I hate permanent ink marker on carts and gear. That has to be the worst to get off. I have a commodore disk drive that had permanent ink writing on one corner. I got of the ink but smoothed out that part of the plastic as well. Doh!! Too much scrubbing. Damn Let's hear your screw-ups!
Ralph3
I was cleaning my Jag carts with this foaming fabric/carpet cleaner. I had NO problems cleaning any games with this stuff, so I am cleaning my Jag games and all of a sudden, I came up with a blank cart label. Oh $h!t , I messed up my Zero 5 label. Was almost completely black when I started, when I finished-COMPLETELY WHITE. So now it has a neat hand drawn label. I might submit a pic soon. (will need to take the pic)
