Spirantho
Wondering if anyone can Name This Game? It's on a pirate 320-in-1 (that - unbelievably - actually appears to have 320 games on it)...
Cootster
Mysterious Thief (CCE title)/Eddy Langfinger (Quelle)/Think there's a version titled Lupin, also . . . Cute little poor-man's reverse Keystone Kapers. . . Insanely hard, though. . . Can't get past screen one. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the game that the one guy was thinking of in the "Looking for a old one" thread, especially if subsequent screens are different. Spirantho
Ah, that's it. I was put off by the way the man in this version is a delicate shade of green. Thanks - I didn't have this game before!
YOK-dfa
I was put off by the way the man in this version is a delicate shade of green. Just admit it, you thought you had discovered a prototype of 'The Incredible Hulk'
bjk7382
I have it listed as "Criminal Pursuit" on my CC2. I looked it up on AA and they have that title for both Quelle and Ariola. It is a very tough game though, and frankly not that much fun either.
Cootster
Yeah, but it has some cool visual effects you don't often see, like the Galaga-esque twinkling stars in the sky, and the guard in the window actually moving from left to right between windows and not just popping up . . . Cootster
[Dang it, give us edit back!] I meant to ask before I sent that last one . . . Is it PAL, PAL-M, or NTSC? It exists in all three forms, AFAIK . . .
Spirantho
Just admit it, you thought you had discovered a prototype of 'The Incredible Hulk' I'd be lying if I said the thought hadnt begun to speculate about the idea of maybe crossing my mind, but any Hulk prototype would be NTSC, not PAL.. It's a PAL-B console (as usual) by the way.
Synthead
The pattern of the interference in your capture makes it look like it's construction paper ... that looks neat My RF interference makes my images look like a tin can
Godzilla
looks sorta like a hacked quick step...
Cootster
I suspect it is actually a very complete hack of Keystone Kapers. . . Although it almost looks like they might have taken apart Crackpots for it also . . . Either way, I'm sure the nameless programmer learned his stuff from Activision disassembly, just like many others. . .
Thomas Jentzsch
I suspect it is actually a very complete hack of Keystone Kapers. . . Although it almost looks like they might have taken apart Crackpots for it also . . . According to CloneSpy the answer is NO and NO.
