mlcarm02
I have recently come across a few other items at a local flea market and was curious as to the value. Any feedback would be appreciated. Also, I am not sure how to scan boxes, but I have some of the boxes you all have posted including "Condor Attack" by Ultravision. Items discovered include: Spitfire Attack Controller, Cosmic Commander Controller, 2 Out of Control Carts (Avalon Hill), 2 Master Builder Carts (Spectravision) and Adventures of Tron Controller. Shaggy the Atarian
Man that's quite the find there. I think I need to start looking at different thrift stores as I can never come across anything I haven't already seen in the ones I always visit. (except for that Shinobi cabinet of mine )
Philflound
"I don't know how to scan boxes." What kind of idiot owns a scanner and does not know how to use it. If it can't fit on the scanner, then you don't scan it, you take a picture. I smell another Air Raid coming. Phil
shadowdoggie
Take it easy on this fictional storyteller. Maybe he/she doesn't know how to take a picture? I don't think you should call anyone an idiot, expecially someone who is more than likely an expert in Photoshop. I say let this young man or woman have a chance to prove this obvious fallacy. mlcarm02
Phil...First off, I never said I owned a scanner, because I dont. If my post has offended you in any way, sorry. Thats reality. Also, clarify for me what "another Air Raid is". I have only been on this site for a week now.
adams_ale
I would love to get my hands on that Adventures of Tron controller!
shadowdoggie
Someone recently claimed to have found 9 copies of Air Raid (One of the rarest of 2600 games), and provided a Photoshop picture of nine identical Air Raid cartridges as proof. There was a great deal of noise made about the validity of the story. It was all just one big lie, but it upset a bunch of people who take collecting seriously. Coincidentally, that story was started by someone who 'just joined' the Atari Age forum, hence the skepticism about your claim. It would be nice to see some pictures. adams_ale
This person may very well have the carts, but it is good to at least front some skepticism so you don't look like a fool. To many people crying wolf these days hurts the honest people who really do have something.

Philflound
If you had said you didn't own a scanner, then that is a little different. You said you didn't know how to scan. That's idiotic, especially if you had owned a scanner. Yes, I'm one of the people upset with scammers on here. We just "love" getting newbies claiming they have all this good stuff on what seems to be their first outing. I've hit no less than 1000 garage sales/flea markets/thrift stores, and such and have never scored a major find. Some rarer stuff, but nothing major. So my skepticism is there. adams_ale
Phil...First off, I never said I owned a scanner, because I dont. If my post has offended you in any way, sorry. Thats reality. Also, clarify for me what "another Air Raid is". I have only been on this site for a week now. Do you know anyone with a scanner? You said you didn't know how to scan the box so it seemed to imply that you had a scanner available. You are going to draw the ire of some people from the very beginning with a post like yours. I can't really blame them for the reasons aforementioned in the other posts. It will be necessary to take a picture of the games if you want to sell them here or on Ebay. High rarities like this don't sell without some authentication. Good luck.
FireTiger
Wow, ouch... why dosen't someone that knows that kind of stuff just give the ballpark value? So, welcome - I personally have no idea how much they are worth myself, just found a Avolon Hill game the other day, was told it was around 40 dollars... To everyone else, scam or not I'd be intrested to know anyway.
adams_ale
Out of Control = 500 bucks Master Builder = 40-50 bucks approximately anyhow.
adams_ale
The way the market is now you could probably snag Out of Control for 300 bucks. In any case you are not likely to find 2 Master Builders let alone two holy grails.
Cootster
Isn't Master Builder far more common in Canada than in the US?
CPUWIZ
Here we go again With what? Insults toward a new user out of jealeousy? What is it with you people, I have not seen this user offer anything for sale? BTW, no, I can not determine if it is a hoax post. This user is sharing IP's with many people on this board who use AOL. adams_ale
Spectravideo or Spectravision only distributed their games in Canada. On second thought you probably could find two Master Builders in one thrift if you lived in Canada.
Albert
Mlcarm02 sent me some pictures to post, so here they are. I have reduced the two pictures down to a width of 800 and then zipped the originals and attached them as well.
