Anyone else seen the Atari Flasback

on the official Atari.com website?

http://www.atari.com/us/games/atari_flashback/7800

I'm looking for some better images so that

I can do up some sort of an article on it for

my 'zine called Action Geek.

Totally stupid that it just has built-in

games and no way to play the carts that,

as we all know, are still out there,

dying to be played...

Woah... I just found a read a good chunk

of the multi-page rant/review on the Flashback...

yikes... didn't mean to beat a dead horse...

Don't worry about it. :D

BTW, I see you joined over 2 years ago, but only posted today for the first time. I guess that makes you one of the ultimate lurkers here. :P

Just wanted to say, picked up the Flashback from Target for $35 and find it to be really cute. And loved watching how some kids really got into it at a party, along with the parents. I think many will find it a lot of fun.

The Flashback is TINY! It has listed on the back "Mini 7800". The controllers are comparitive "mini" size.

The controllers do not work on the Atari 800 at the moment. Have to see if we can make an adapter. :)

But my thoughts, cute, fun, simple. Something a lot of parents will have fun walking down memory lane... loved the two player Centipede! And the kids liked it to.
