Heaven/TQA
eru/taquart published new 2 tiny atari tools... thank god that it's now possible to download files from atariarea without registration... check'em out... (maybe dracon can send some light why eru has wrote this tools? seems kind of very oldschool'ish... ) http://atariarea.histeria.pl/forum/viewtop...?t=2434&start=
emkay
As I am not a friend of Interlace, I ever would prefer G2F. But it seems, Interlace has it's "Fans". Eventually... Tebe should ad an interlaced mode in G2F for a roundup?
Dracon
(maybe dracon can send some light why eru has wrote this tools? seems kind of very oldschool'ish... ) doesn't so-called OLDSKOOL rule? )) Eru wrote this on request of TIGER/NG (Polish gfx-man) who prefer to draw strictly on atari (won't use G2F for sure!). He wants to use an editor with many, many colors and similar to "INP" (a bit lame editor I think) as refers usage... So Eru said it such editor is possible to do, but to make life easier, it should consist of 'modules' or 'plugins' to operate in different gfx-modes such as CIN, HIP, MIC... It's is being developed now... I won't use it unless it has fully friendly GUI (mouse, multiple UNDO) etc.
miker
As I am not a friend of Interlace... Pity! Then start using real stuff more than A800Win*.* Interlace is very useful thing, especially if you really know, what you're going to draw. Btw. This pic ("Lodos" done by Replay/BB) uses the chceckered kind of interlace and on some party (Rush Hours '97 IIRC) it really stormed a lot of amiga-users. And G2F - yeah, it's good, but it's just another pc-program (: TeBe - when you release it on cart?
